Here’s a quick rundown.
We’re currently going through a scare on Tumblr where your blog could get taken down at any time for any unclear reason, because they’re cracking down on child porn. That is good, but many people with perfectly appropriate blogs are having them taken down, too. The thing is, right now, you can still get your blog back without hassle if it is taken down by mistake. Imagine if your blog was taken down simply for making or reblogging a meme, gif of your favorite TV show, or simply producing art that isn’t 100% original, and Tumblr COULD NOT RESTORE IT BECAUSE THEY WOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS BY ARTICLE 13. That could be our reality. Do NOT turn a blind eye to this.
tl;dr Article 13 will 100% change the internet as we know it for the worse, and you aren’t safe even outside of the EU. SPREAD THE WORD. EU RESIDENTS CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVES.

guys i have an interview at a job coming up but im running on nothing, my fridge is empty and there’s 2 cents in my bank account. i am taking care of my baby sister still and we need to eat. i tricked her into going to bed last night w/o dinner because i couldn’t afford it. i don’t even qualify for food stamps. i need some help so so desperately bad just to survive until i can get another job. i am desperate please. please just anything you could throw our way i am hungry and tired and madison is asking me about food and idk what to tell her. I tried to ask her dad for help but he came to our house and got so angry at her that he beat her and choked her and gave her a busted lip and she’s TEN. i will never take money from that man because he’ll use it as an excuse to come here and abuse us even more. im just so so desperate i don’t have anyone to borrow money from and I don’t have a job yet and I don’t know what else to do. my mom can’t even pull her shit together long enough to hold a job and im taking care of her child and it’s just too much. please anything will help anything please please
we had an….incident saturday with my sister’s dad….he snuck my sister away from me and allowed his “girlfriend” get some of my sister’s urine so she could pass her drug test for parole. i won’t go into detail but my sister was grossly violated by a stranger who is on drugs. and her dad allowed it, he brought her over there to be violated like that. we called the police and he tried his best, but he said that there was nothing he could charge him with, so there wasnt much he could do. our mom is so depressed and lost that she’d rather rationalize what he’s doing rather than tell him to fuck off.
he sees that we need help and he is trying to sneak his way back into me and my sister’s lives because he believes he can do what ever the fuck he wants because we’re his “kids” and he gives us money. i dont even know why i’m posting this venting maybe?? but i cant just sit here and watch my sister get abused by her dad and our mom just…..letting it happen because we need money?? what the fuck?????
our mom is in the hospital now after a suicide attempt and she doesn’t have insurance so the bill is going to be high. she was just admitted yesterday and the doctors say she isn’t even moving. anything you can do would help would be amazing and me and my sister would be so grateful.

I love Hot Topic and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a black corset with matching lace around it and a black leather miniskirt, pink fishnets and black combat boots. I was wearing black lipstick, white foundation, black eyeliner and red eye shadow. I was walking outside Hogwarts. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of preps stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

on tumblr you can make a post that just says “minecraft” and get 50k notes, where on twitter you have to steal tweets and instagram you have to be hot. tumblr is more like a bunch of kids let loose in walmart where there are no rules and the only god is a bald swedish man
